The majority of our customers are makers of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Subsequently, we developed the personal computer-based communication control system of FA/PA sector. Then we adoptted the "SECS" protocol for host systems, which is also the SEMI standard of semiconductor sector, and soon introduced SECS products to the market. | |

| ZUKEN ELMIC provides two solutions for
the semiconductor manufacturing lines: GEM and Xcom. GEM is the de facto standard communication protocol in the United States. We tie up with a US company, GW Associates Inc., and sells GW GEM, which runs on our ELX real-time OS. We also provide our original software package named "Xcom". It is a Windows-base software that enables smooth development of flexible CIM communications controllers while performing interactive equipment settings. |

FA field is growing so rapidly. ZUKEN ELMIC intends to use its
extensive accumulation of core technologies in all areas and speed
up semiconductor manufacturing line networks by TCP/IP.
